Hawaii Island Humane Society's Putts for Paws Fundraiser

At EEZYSUN, we believe that compassion should be at the heart of everything we do. This year, we were thrilled to be a small part of the Hawaii Island Humane Society's Putts for Paws golf fundraising event. We wanted to help out the best way we could as part of their sun protection theme at their event.

The Hawaii Island Humane Society (HIHS) is a pillar of hope for countless animals in need. Their commitment to animal welfare is truly inspiring. A few of the remarkable ways they make a difference include:

• Saving Lives: Working tirelessly to save animals from dire situations. From rescuing strays, and animals from high-kill shelters, to those abandoned or in distress, giving them a second chance at life.
• Providing Medical Care: Many of the rescued animals require immediate medical attention. HIHS ensures they receive the necessary veterinary care, from vaccinations and treatments to life-saving surgeries.
• Rehoming and Adoption: Finding loving homes for rescued animals is a top priority. The organization ensures that every animal goes to a safe and nurturing environment.
• Foster Programs: For animals that aren't ready for adoption, HIHS provides foster care options. Allowing rescued animals to heal, grow, and adjust in a home environment while waiting for their forever homes.
• Advocacy and Education: Beyond direct animal care, HIHS is dedicated to raising awareness about animal welfare. Working with the community to help educate on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the benefits of adopting rather than buying pets.
